In the afternoon of the 27th March 2024, the Vanguard Efficient and Sustainable Manufacturing (ESM) Pilot Plenary meeting will take place at Palazzo Lombardia. The final agenda is attached.

The meeting will be divided into two main sessions: “Be informed”, aimed at presenting the opportunities of inter-regional collaboration in ESM Pilot, and “Be active”, aimed at experimenting inter-regional collaboration in battery value-chain. During the second session, a workshop will be organized within the I3 EU-funded project BATMASS, as an example of activity performed within the ESM Pilot, with a focus on the establishment of a “European Circular Battery Valley”.

This has been organized as side event of the Clusters meet Regions event, that will take place in Milan (and for the first time in Italy), at Palazzo Lombardia (Lombardy Region headquarters) on the 26th and 27th March 2024. The initiative is organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, in collaboration with AFIL - Lombardy Intelligent Factory Association and Lombardy Region, and with the support of the Lombardy Technology Clusters. The preliminary agenda is attached and Vanguard will be represented by Wim.

The workshop will focus on "Twin Transition: Italian ecosystems and the European agenda for sustainability" and will include a high-level plenary session, panel discussions, and pitching sessions for start-ups and Clusters.
