The Vanguard Initiative leading by example in the Green Transition

Thursday 13 October | 11:30- 13:00

Lower Austria EU Liaison Office, Rue Montoyer 40, 1000 Bruxelles

The ‘Vanguard Initiative’ leads by example in the EU Green Transition by promoting collaboration among its members and by implementing a fresh approach to industrial transformation based on smart specialisation strategies (S3).

In this context, the seminar will provide a platform for the Vanguard Initiative regions to showcase some of their collaborative activities in the framework of the pilots in the sectors of Hydrogen, BioEconomy, and offshore wind Energy.

By highlighting such best practices, this workshop will provide other regions with the opportunity to learn from current activities and connect for future endeavours. Indeed, the pilot activities are providing a line of action fostering interregional value chains by drawing on the existing strengths of regional ecosystems and remaining open to pulling in new, less well-represented actors or territories.

The event will be held in a hybrid online and onsite mode.
The registration link is available here.
