The Vanguard Initiative boosting the EU Digital Transition by connecting Regional Innovation Ecosystems

Wednesday 12 October | 14:30- 16:00

Galicia Office – Galician Innovation Agency, Rue de la Loi 38, 1040 Bruxelles

The main objective of the Vanguard Initiative is to allow its member regions to collaborate to pursue innovation and create opportunities to stimulate territorial and societal renewal.

In this context, the seminar wants to inform on how VI regions are contributing to the Digital Transition by connecting their innovation ecosystems and by co-developing interregional value chains.  By presenting best practices, this workshop will offer the audience not only the occasion to discover some of the current VI regions' activities, but also to connect and partner with them.

Indeed, the VI pilot activities aim at stimulating a bottom-up approach to new value chain development by stimulating the triple helix partners' involvement. As this results in interregional innovation projects, the seminar will also facilitate a discussion on how instruments such as I3, cohesion funds, or Digital Europe can boost interregional investment for innovation.

The event will be held in a hybrid online and onsite mode.
Registration is open here.
